Introduced in 2012 as part of Fortis’ 100th anniversary, the B-47 ticks with a Fortis Caliber F-2022 movement beating at 28,800 vph. This movement helps drive the B-47 impressive functionality which includes tracking of up to three time zones simultaneously. The first, tracked via the center hands, is complemented by the GMT hand which is ingeniously marked on the rotating inner disc that also shows a top-down view of the globe. The final time zone can be tracked by use of the multi-city marked bidirectional rotating steel bezel. A skeletonized hour hand helps keep the dial beneath visible and with its red-tip, matches the slender minute hand. An integrated blue rubber strap finishes off the piece and the dual folding clasp indicates “Limited Edition”, referring to the 2012 pieces produced in the series. Each piece is individually numbered as indicated on the back of the 47mm case.
