De Ville: Omega's Dress Watch Collection
Omega's De Ville collection has been known for its classic, elegant watches for decades. In-house calibers with tourbillons are among the gems of this series, as are the various opulent, diamond-studded women's watches.
This page contains information about:
Classic design, state-of-the-art technology
Traditional designs, modern quartz and automatic movements, a huge selection - this is what characterizes the De Ville collection from Omega. These watches were once part of the Seamaster family and have been in the Omega range since the mid-1950s. In 1967, Omega finally made the De Ville a collection in its own right. The range extends from simple models with three hands, which Omega offers in the Trésorsubcategories, to gold watches with tourbillons. Numerous ladies' watches adorned with diamonds are also available within the Ladymatic and Prestige series. The watches in the De Ville collection are particularly suitable for formal occasions thanks to their classic design features, but can also be combined well with casual outfits.
If you would like to call a classic chronograph your own, you should take a closer look at the De Ville Co-Axial Chronograph from this previous collection. The 42-mm wristwatch is available in stainless steel or rose gold. With 100 meters (10 bar, 328 ft) of water resistance, you can even take it swimming. This is an impressive feat, since not even Omega's iconic Speedmaster Professional can compete with this water resistance rating.
Thanks to their chronometer-certified Co-Axial calibers and precise quartz movements, De Ville watches tick very accurately, reliably, and efficiently. Top models even come with Co-Axial Master Chronometer certification and can resist magnetic fields of up to 15,000 gauss, making strong magnetism no match for these timepieces.
