Description
An excellent example of the Rolex Sea-Dweller Ref. 1665 featuring the desirable MK1 “Great White” dial, dating to circa 1981. The stainless steel case has been recently polished and retains sharp, prominent bevels, showing only minimal wear from use. The original bezel insert has faded to an attractive graduated silver-grey tone and shows light wear. The original matte black MK1 dial is in superb condition, showing little if any wear. The tritium lume plots have aged to a warm sandy hue, perfectly matched by the original hands. The watch is fitted with a newer 93150 Oyster bracelet with 580 endlinks, which remains in near-new condition. The clasp is stamped PJ6. It was serviced in 2021 by an independent watchmaker and remains in excellent working order. A standout example of the iconic "Great White" Sea-Dweller — sharp, clean, and full of vintage character.
