The 42mm diameter solid two-body case, octagonal bezel with 8 hexagonal white gold face screws and integral drop lugs are brushed/polished. The solid octagonal case back is also secured with 8 screws and it's engraved with "Royal Oak Offshore," and a serial number. It has a protected screwed down hexagonal rubber-clad signed winding crown with a rubber gasket and crown guards located between the bezel and the case. There is a screwed-down rubber-clad helium release crown is located on the case edge at the 10 o'clock position and it has an Arabic numeral graduated dive-time bezel with a yellow warning strip. The special boutique dial has a blue mega tapisserie "waffle" texture, applied luminous steel baton hour markers surrounded by a white outer minute/second track and steel luminous blued fat baton hour and yellow minute hands with a center sweep seconds hand with a luminescent "lollipop" indicator circle. There is a magnified date aperture window at the 3 o'clock position. It's water resistant to 300 meters/1000 feet, it has a power reserve of 60-hours at full winding, and the 14mm thick case, dial, and movement are all signed.

It's rhodium-plated, with Cotes de Geneve and oeil-de-perdrix embellishment, and beveled diamond graved bridges with inverted snailing. It's constructed with 40 jewels, 280 components, a shock absorber system, and a straight-line lever escapement. It includes a stop balance for precision time setting, a monometallic balance adjusted for heat, cold, isochronism and 5 positions, a self-compensating flat balance-spring with variable inertia blocks, a screwed mobile stud holder, and a 22K rose gold rotor oscillating weight with ceramic ball bearings and the Audemars Piquet crests and emblem. The mechanism oscillates at a frequency of 21,600 vph (3Hz).
