Double Signed Edition in solid 18kt Yellow Gold with a Gorgeous Unique Indigo Blue Tiffany & Co. signed dial with applied yellow gold baton index hour markers and baton hands. The solid three-body ellipsoid case, hooded Vendôme-type lugs, and angled bezel are polished/brushed. It is fitted on a Blue Leather Teju Lizard strap and features a scratch-resistant sapphire crystal.

One of the most striking features of this watch is its gorgeous unique indigo blue Tiffany & Co. signed dial. The deep blue hue creates a captivating backdrop for the applied yellow gold baton index hour markers, which elegantly sweep around the dial, perfectly complemented by the baton hands. This harmonious blend of colors and shapes creates a visually captivating display.

The ref. 3548 we have here dates to the first generation of Ellipse production. It doubles up on the gold, with both an 18k yellow gold case and a beautiful dial crafted out of solid gold that has received a chemical treatment to result in a dial with a unique, deep blue hue. The applied rectangular hour markers on the dial are also made from solid gold, looking almost like solid gold bars that have been suddenly dropped on the dial. It gives off a highly memorable impression, something that's only made better by the presence of the ultra-thin manual-wind Patek Philippe caliber 23-300 inside. It's an absolute dream to wind up.

This Patek Philippe 3548 Golden Ellipse "Tiffany & Co." Double Signed Boutique Release has a mechanical manual winding Patek Philippe caliber 23-300 PM movement. It's stamped with the Geneva Quality Hallmark, and it's rhodium-plated with fausses-côtes embellishment. It's constructed with 18 jewels, a shock absorber device, and a straight-line lever escapement. It' includes a monometallic Gyromax balance that's adjusted to heat, cold, isochronism and 5 positions, a self-compensating free-sprung Breguet balance-spring, and the mechanism oscillates at a frequency of 19,800 vph (2.75 Hz).

The hidden hooded-style lugs and sloping bezel give the watch a bit of unexpected personality, causing it to appear to almost float on top of the wrist. The Ellipse's unique case, of course, is inspired by the so-called Golden Ratio, an ancient formula developed by Greek mathematicians that is believed to be inherently attractive to all who come across it.
