Description

Patek Philippe 5970R-001. Unworn almost 20 years since its production in November 2004.

The classic 40mm perpetual calendar chronograph from Patek Philippe in unworn condition since its original purchase in 2005.

The watch has been sitting in its delivery sleeve in a bank safe since January 2005 .

The 5970 in rose gold is not the rarest of the four metals , it is however considered by many to be the most attractive.

The 5970 was introduced in 2004 in rose gold and white gold versions , the series was competed with yellow gold and platinum . The yellow gold is considered the rarest and the platinum perhaps the most desirable ( if impossible to read by anyone over 16 years old)

This example is complete with its Certificate of Origin , instruction booklets, spare solid back ( sealed , more important than you may think) , setting pin box etc.

The most important factor with this watch is the condition, it is a watch which you would buy only to wear very carefully if at all . Finding these watches in unworn condition almost 20 years after they were made is becoming increasingly difficult .
